Scheduling

Stress. that’s a common word used by high school students. With the new semester coming around and the year slowly coming to an end, comes something every high school student dreads, scheduling. Not only do you have to start preparing yourself for next year but you have to start taking classes that reflect what you want to pursue when you leave the magical place called high school. Lucky for the seniors, they never have to step foot into another one ever again. As for the ninth, tenth, and eleventh graders this tends to be one of the most nerve racking times of the year next to midterms and finals.

“Scheduling is stressful because these are our classes for junior year, so they really have to reflect on what career we desire to do,” said Mackenzie Lenk, a sophomore here at Fraser.

Not only could this be stressful for the students, but the teachers as well. Not to mention the incoming freshmen who have ever experienced this. Freshman year is said to be one of the hardest and most important years of your high school career. Were lucky to have such a terrific staff at Fraser High School to help us during this time of need.

“A lot of us don’t know what we want to do for sure yet and we have to consider taking classes that have to do with our career and its also hard because you don’t want to mess up and sign up for classes you’ll regret,” said Katrina Sanchez, a current tenth grader at FHS.

Having to consider all the possibilities and good/bad things that could happen during scheduling can be tough. All we have to do is think on the positive side, were one step closer to completing our high school years and one step closer to determining the rest of our lives.
