Creative Writing Club Interview

October 9, the Fraser High School creative writing club hosted their first meeting of the year. Incoming freshman, excited about the upcoming meeting all showed up and participated in group discussion.

“I can’t wait!,” senior JoHanna Loar said. “Last year was so much fun, this year will be even better. I just joined last year, but the friends I made really made the club enjoyable for me. I was able to express my ideas with others that had the same passions as me.”

The Club intends to meet every other week to once a month for the rest of the year. They hope to have many people share their writings with the club whether it be inspired by a prompt proposed in the club or something they’ve been working on in their own time. Alumni members may also stop in for a visit, like Fraser alumni Rachel Moore.

“Well, I love coming to visit everybody. My significant other is still in high school and all my favorite teachers are there. So, being Fraser alumni is really special cause I get to go back and see everybody that I miss,” Moore said.

The club hopes to inspire writers to express their works and even be inspired by some of the things the club discusses or evoke from those that attend. The next meeting will be the 23rd of October in room 1700.
