National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) is hosting a blanket drive. During the week of December 2 through the 6 bring in new or gently used blankets, donations will be accepted during all lunches or to Mrs. Kalpin’s room, 1402. All blankets collected will be donated to the Hope United Church of Christ and being given to the homeless.
NTHS’ goal is to collect 500 blankets. Any student that brings in a blanket will automatically get a free smoothie slip, and entered into a raffle for a chance to win a crewneck or sweatpants from the school store.
Help make someone’s winter just a bit warmer this year by participating in the blanket drive.
UPDATE December 09, 2013: NTHS has collected 104 blankets that will be distributed at the Hope United Church of Christ in Fraser, to the homeless.
