What Will Homecoming Week Bring?

School dances are always exciting, and so is the week leading up to it. Homecoming week is September 25th through September 30th, giving students a whole week of events. The week is full of spirit, sports, and showiness. Fraser High School Students should expect the Powderpuff game, a full spirit week, the pep assembly, and most importantly, Homecoming to finish it all off.

Homecoming week is busy, with events every day of the week. While students are focused on the high of their dance, as well as the early release and game on the day before, they may not be as knowledgeable on what’s going on the week leading up to it.

Starting the week with a bang is the Powderpuff Game on September 25th. Tickets to get into the game are five dollars per person; Students do not need to bring their ID as the price is the same between students and non-students. Players and Cheerleaders can get into the game for free, though. For an extra ten dollars, shirts to celebrate 2023 Powderpuff will be available. In addition, facepainting and hair decorations will be accessible for students to wear at the game.

Spirit Week is also this week. From Monday, September 25th to Monday, October 2nd, a fun week full of stylish attire will grace Fraser High School.

Monday, September 25th is Adam Sandler Day. Dress in your most fun and most dad-like clothes, and add a bit of Sandler flare to your outfit. Decorated button-ups and long shorts with colorful laces, or an oversized superhero tee with some khaki shorts. Show your own Sandler Style on Monday.

Wednesday the 27th is Guess Who Day. Dress up as your favorite celebrity and come to school in the most red-carpet-worthy outfit you can. Guess who your classmates are and see how many you can get right in the biggest Guess Who game of the county.
