Fraser DECA Advances 2 State Champions

Last Week, Fraser High School sent 16 students to compete in State Competition hosted at Huntington Place Detroit. This year, they performed the best they ever had at the state competition.

Last Week, Fraser High School sent 16 students to compete in State Competition hosted at Huntington Place Detroit. This year, they performed the best they ever had at the state competition.

Students Sophie Meyer and Analu Jahi both won 1st place- state champion- for their events, business financing, and food marketing respectively. Both of these students will represent Michigan in the state competition at the end of April, hosted in Orlando Fl.

The following students placed in the top 10 for the state of Michigan:

Hilary Dubay/Jostena Akladyous – Hotel & Lodging: Top 10 and Role Play Medal

Noah Tonn/Casey Savoie/Jacob Dolezel – Team Work & Leadership: Top 10 Noah and Casey received medals for Top 5 finish in test.

Aneko Nichol – Personal Finance: Top 10 and Role Play Medal

Nouri Hollins – Personal Finance: Top 10
Fraser DECA was also awarded the THRIVE award for their work in community service and ethical leadership and the Gimmee Five award for chapter growth.
