Crushing records is what the Varsity Swim Team did at the MHSAA Swim and Dive State Championships. Freshman Hunter Lemmon broke the 100 Yard Backstroke school record with a time of 53.36! This record was held previously by Alexander Capizzo, set in 2018 with a time of 54.00. The 400 Yard Free Relay was also broken by the relay team consisting of Senior Adam Burley, Senior James Hartshorn, Junior Max Nielson, and H. Lemmon. The new time set by the relay team was 3.16:11! The previous record was held by the relay team of 1990, B. Shakel, J. Lowe, M Bel, and S Peters. The relay team also took 10th at the MHSAA Swim and Dive Finals.
