Layton Greene, a new artist from St. Louis, Illinois tells her life story in her song “Blame on Me.”

She explains how growing up wasn’t easy for her, and she goes into depths of how she was working at Walmart to support herself when her mom left her for her boyfriend, and she then got exposure from a video of her singing, and her life changed from there.

Her voice is very soft and truthful when she sings, and the beat of this song has drums along with some soft piano in the background which adds to the innocentness of it.

She really expresses her pain in this song because the lyrics are so sad and genuine that the pain of her life growing up is clearly understandable to the listeners.
