The Ramblers’ junior varsity football squad had high hopes coming into Thursdays night contest after notching a huge win last week against Port Huron 38-19 they were hoping to even their record at 3-3 with a win against one the best teams in Macomb Area Conference; Warren Mott. Fraser started out strong with scoring a touchdown on their opening drive with quarterback Nick Benson plowing into the end zone for 6. The 2 point conversion after a high extra point snap was no good.

The J.V defense was on point causing chaos for the Warren Mott offense by forcing a fumble recovered by Andrew Squires. The offense would captailize on the turnover with a huge touchdown pass from half back Montez Cregeur to wide receiver Dylan Parrott to make the score 12-0. The two point conversion was no good.

Warren Mott would strike with three seconds left in half but would miss the two point conversion making the score 12-6 at half time. The J.V defense would fold a little bit in the second half giving up 16 straight points to Mott making the score 22-12 heading into the fourth quarter. Fraser would score within the first couple minutes of the final quarter making the score 22-18. After a successful two point conversion attempt Fraser trailed Mott 22-20 with about ten minutes left in play. The defense would need to come up huge stop to get the ball back to the offense and they did.

With Mott driving down the field the defense would hold Motts offense after Mott turned it over on downs and now the offense was in business again. The J.V drove down the field and just as they thought they were going to make a huge come back it was fourth down for the offense. As the rain began to fall this was do or die and Motts defense came up with a stop and won the ball game 22-20 making the junior varsity s overall fall to 2-4. The J.V football squad has a huge game coming up for homecoming week as they go on road to take on the Falcons of Henry Ford II.
