On January 26th a large number of Fraser High School band students that equaled out to 54 total events, participated in the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association District 16 Solo and Ensemble Festival and came back with great results. 32 of the 54 events received a First Division rating, which is equivalent to an “A” on the grading scale which is an excellent ranking. Out of the 22 events left that Fraser participated in, 21 received a Second Division in their events. Every event that got a First Division in the Festival has the option of performing at the State Solo & Ensemble Festival at Farmington Harrison High School on March 23, 2013. Not only does this Festival and all of the success reflect how talented the students are, it also shows how well they were taught.
