With spring break just around the corner, lots of students are thinking about what outfit will look best for their Instagram photos or how the weather is going to be in France for the FHS world language trip.
The week after students come back to school, however, they are going to have to shift their focus to the future.
PSATs, M-Step, SATs, and AP tests are just around the corner.
Juniors, with the busiest testing schedule, have been prepping for these exams already. Between digital readiness checks and extra Khan Academy practices, students are just about ready for the SAT. If they do well enough on the test, they can earn scholarship money to attend college.
A little less than a month after the M-Step, PSAT, and SAT, the AP exams begin.
AP exams are the week of May 4th through May 8th. Students who are enrolled in AP courses get the opportunity to take these exams for a chance, if they score high enough, to earn college credit. These tests are graded on a 5-point scale, with most colleges accepting a 3 or higher to give students credit.
Students have a lot of studying to do, but they have a chance to make it worth it through the scholarships and credit they can earn.
