Female icon Coco Chanel once said, “A girl should be two things: who and what she wants.”
Young actress, singer, and songwriter Mckenna Grace has done this exact thing throughout her life. Embracing her unique personality and her passion for acting, she has made an irreversible impact on the young female community.
Starting her acting career at 5 years old in the Disney XD show Crash and Bernstein, Grace has appeared in over 70 movies and television shows. Some of her most famous works include Mary Adler in Gifted, Pheobe Spengler in Ghostbusters, Paige Swanson in Young Sheldon, and Maysilee Donner in the upcoming addition to The Hunger Games franchise, Sunrise on the Reaping.
Grace has received several awards and nominations for her work, including a nomination for best young actress at the Women Film Critics Circle Awards in 2017.
Grace has also written and released several singles and EPs, as well as an album titled Bittersweet 16.
At only 19 years old, Grace has paved a path for herself and inspired young girls just like her. She has shown that it is possible, even at a young age, to be a trailblazer and carry out a dream and a passion. She is not only an inspiration for children and young adults, but an icon in women’s history.
