The Fraser Varsity Dance Team kicks off their competitive season this Sunday, 1/11. They are attending their first competition, DTU, at Dakota High School competing in both small varsity jazz and small varsity hip hop. The girls have been working hard since August to prepare their dances and cannot wait to get them out on the competition floor.
Following this competition, the team will be showcasing their jazz routine at the Boys Varsity Basketball game halftime next Wednesday, 1/14.
Along with this, the girls will attend their second competition, the Pistons Classic at Little Caesars Arena, on Saturday, 1/17. There, they will have the opportunity to perform at the Pistons game that night– the highest scoring routine gets to dance again during halftime.
The small but mighty dance team has been working relentlessly for months and the girls are excited to put their work out on the floor.
