The spirit of Thanksgiving is alive at Fraser High School. At their last meeting, National Honor Society worked together to make a paper chain depicting all the things they are grateful for.
Each member in attendance wrote a few different things that they were thankful for on either a blue or a yellow strip of paper. After they wrote, a stapler was passed around in order for the students to connect everyone’s papers together to make a chain in Fraser’s school colors.
Mrs. Neal-Mcglaun, one of the two Fraser National Honor Society advisors, said that the chain was made to “show that we are grateful for things and just not taking [them] for granted.”
In celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday that is right around the corner, NHS hung up their chain in the media center to showcase their gratitude. As students pass through the library to get to class or to check out a book, they are reminded of everything in life that there is to be grateful for.
