Fraser High School is officially a Special Olympics Unified Champion School®. With this, the school has its first unified basketball team ever.
Unified Sports is a partnership between schools and Special Olympics that promotes social inclusion, teamwork, and well-being by bringing together students with and without disabilities on the same team. It’s all about building friendships, learning new skills, and creating a supportive, inclusive community.
All in all, the creation of a unified basketball team is a positive addition to the FHS community.
