Student council is hosting their eighth annual Boat Regatta event on Monday, December 1st. They host this event every year to kick off their Charity Week planning.
Students form groups of 2-4 people to create a boat to send floating down the Fraser pool. It costs $20 to participate per team. Their supplies are limited to five sheets of cardboard and three rolls of duct tape.
Teams get three meeting dates to finish creating their boats. On the day of the competition, there are multiple possible prizes to win: first place, best theme, best sink, and various other prizes (gift cards, metals, etc.)
Packets are available outside of room 1813 and are due November 10th for interested participants.
