All people interested in art, design, and cars should seriously consider participating in the GM design program. Participating in the program will allow students to get real experience with General Motor employees and learn about the process of designing cars.

The application process is a little lengthy but nothing too complicated. Someone interested in applying would have to do the following:

· Application deadline is November 16th, 2024

· To be considered students must submit the following:

o An online application (use the above QR Code)

o 500-word biography paragraph

o Headshot photo of self

o Artwork portfolio (up to 15 images, up to 15 pages)

· The program schedule includes the following:

o December 5, 2024 start date through February 26, 2025 (not 12/19 or 12/26)

o Weekly sessions on Thursdays 4:00 to 6:00pm

o Starting in January 2025 – in person sessions at Warren GM Design Center

o Tuesday virtual option for remote participants

· Teachers can identify students & suggest students apply or see Career Navigator

· Students can apply themselves or obtain help from the Career Navigators
