Fraser Tennis’ Clean Sweep

On Thursday March 29th, it turned out to be a good day for the Fraser Tennis crew. Mr. Dalida, Fraser’s tennis coach, thought the team did very well, for the team not only won against their Anchor Bay opponents, but they had a clean sweep never letting their previous opponents win even one game.

“I felt like this win was interesting as I felt like some of us were prepared and some of us weren’t,” said Olivia Reiter, one of the players from team.

In fact Olivia and Haven Robinson shutout their adversaries in their two sets during the tournament.

“Something that is interesting off the court, however is that Dalida buys us ice cream,” said Olivia.

Although on the court there was an interesting match where Fraser players, Barbara Clark and Emily Solecki, a junior and a sophomore respectively defeated two seniors from Anchor Bay in two sets, which is quite impressive.

“We just have a really good time even if someone is having a bad day there is someone there to pick you up even as a first year player I feel very welcomed,” Olivia stated.

With 8 games played and 31 players across the two teams, this was quite the tournament that Fraser had swept for the win.
