Streetlight Manifesto comes forth with the first volume of a planned six part series of CD’s called “99 Songs of Revolution.” The long awaited album has a lot to live up to and it sure lives up to it. Highlights of the album such as the Squirrel Nut Zippers’ “Hell,” Radiohead’s “Just” and Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution’s “The Provide the Paint for the Picture Perfect Masterpiece that You Will Paint on the Insides of Your Eyelids” proves the album to be a powerhouse, and does not disappoint. Even their cover of The Postal Service’s “Such Great Heights” leads to be a driving rendition of a beautiful song. Their latest album since “Somewhere in the Between,” this album does a great job in portraying classic Streetlight Manifesto.
