Junior year is a busy time for students as they start to prepare for their next steps after high school.
On top of all the challenging classes and after school activities, juniors have to take extra tests to help them on their college application journeys. The first extra test of the year is the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 15th. This is a National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
Juniors have been taking the PSAT since eighth grade in order to practice for the SAT that comes at the end of junior year. The PSAT/NMSQT, however, is not only a practice, but it can also count for scholarships if a student does well enough.
These students are embarking on a brand-new chapter of life, starting now. They must work harder than they ever have in order to move on to new heights after high school.
