Fraser Girls’ Varsity Golf is in full swing!
The members have been practicing since the late summer. They have been putting in the hours on the course and on the driving range in preparation for their matches.
They started competing during the first week of September, and they have already found success. In their first match, they scored second place, beating Port Huron on their home course.
With a team of only seven girls, they are a small but strong-willed team. They are a tight-knit group of girls with a love for golf and a dedication to each other and the sport.
This is the second year on the team for junior Elliana Laity. “I love having the opportunity to get outside and do something I enjoy with some of my best friends,” she said.
With two matches already under their belt, the team is looking forward to the rest of their season.
