As the year begins, seniors celebrate the start to their final year of high school with the Senior Sunrise. The Senior Sunrise is significant because the beginning of the day symbolizes the start of the school year. It also helps unify the senior class, allowing different groups and communities within the school to socialize and bond.
“I’m excited for the senior sunrise because it’s a tradition that I’ve gotten to see all my friends experience in the past years, and I’m looking forward to creating my own memories. I think it’s an important tradition because it creates a sense of unity and community that will carry through our last year of high school,” senior, Olivia Deir, said.
The Senior Sunrise will be held on September 5th in the stadium. Breakfast will be provided for everyone to enjoy before the school day.
All seniors are welcome this Friday to hang out with their friends, eat some food, and prepare for their final year of public high school ever.
