“Like We Grown,” is Trevor Jackson’s new hit single from his album Like We Grown. Jackson expresses his emotions towards a girl he likes saying, “Hey I know I’m young but I promise you I will love you like we grown tonight.” The soft melody with just enough bass carries young girls into a dream land where they feel as if Jackson is singing to them.

All Jackson wants to do is fall in love and go adventure with that special girl, “Do something crazy you’ve never done before.” His voice sings softly as the swift tune enhances his voice. Listeners (mainly girls) are connected to the song waiting to find out what will happen at the end of this night. Jackson shows his sympathy towards the girl saying, “Baby take my hand and we know if it feels right. Ain’t no stress ain’t no pressure.”

Not pressuring the girl and making her feel safe is just drawing the listeners in more to find out what’s going to happen. As the peaceful melody continues Jackson expresses his emotions to this girl he wants to be with. Keeping his promise, Jackson closes his song saying, “I will love you like we grown tonight.”
