For the past eight years, Fraser Public Schools’ K-12 Art Department has sponsored the Empty Bowls Event. On March 24, ceramic bowls created by elementary children are being sold to support the hungry within the Fraser community as well as to benefit MCREST (Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team).

In years past, the Empty Bowls Event has always turned out great with parents of elementary students buying their children’s bowls. When buying a student made ceramic bowl, they are also given bread, water, and a meal of soup. The Fraser Youth Choir will also be making a special performance for the event. Located at the Fraser High School Cafeteria from 5:30 – 7:30 pm, the Fraser community hopes to lead another successful year for the Empty Bowls Event.
