Both teams shake hands after Fraser’s 43-28 win February 10th.

On Tuesday, February 10th, the Lady Ramblers got off to a hot start on offense. They hit multiple three pointers early on to build themselves a 13-6 lead at the end of the 1st. The 2nd quarter started off with back to back threes by senior guards, Hallie Gordley and Julia Stewart. Another bucket by Fraser pushed the lead to 21-9. The score would remain the same for the last few minutes of play as the Lady Ramblers went into half with a 12 point lead. Another solid defensive performance by Fraser helped to get easy transition baskets.

L’Anse Creuse could not stop the Ramblers as they entered the 3rd quarter. The Ramblers were extremely hot from downtown (3-point line). Good floor spacing helped them to score 17 points in the 3rd quarter. With such a big lead, they were able to rest some starters and hit cruise control. The team went on to post a 43-28 blowout against the Lady Lancers.

“It was one of our best performances as a team this year,” Coach Dave Kuppe remarked after the game.

Phenomenal defense and efficient offense helped the Ramblers win their 8th conference game. The team is still undefeated and has all but captured the MAC Blue title.

The Varsity Basketball team finishes their 3 game home stand in a non-conference game Friday night at 6pm against the Dakota Cougars (2-13). They have the opportunity to go 3-0 on their home stand and stretch their home record to 6-1.
