The Story of a Football Player

Jeremiah Robinson is a senior at Fraser High School who is involved in many after school activities. He started playing football when he was in 5th grade for the East Side Bengels Football Organization and after four years, he joined the Fraser High School Football team making junior varsity sophomore year. Jeremiah is currently on the varsity football team, does track, and does after school volunteering.

“Varsity has been fun, a lot of competition, good learning experience, and you get to meet a lot of people. Playing the game helped me learn new techniques and how to play well. Currently we are a 500 team, won half of our games. We are a 3/3 team so basically we are in control of our destiny. We have to work hard to go to playoffs,” Jeremiah said.

Before games Jeremiah likes to be calm and stay focused.

“I do get nervous before games so I rest a bit, have food in my system, play around and play some music, and stay focused,” Jeremiah said.

Other than playing football or being on track, Jeremiah would be on the wrestling team and along with all of this, he also works a job.

“It’s challenging to do schoolwork and all the other stuff that comes along with it but you have to make time for it,” Jeremiah said.
