Fraser High School’s chapter of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) is sponsoring a walkathon for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, its charity of the year, to assist in the organization’s mission of researching for a cure to blood cancers, which affected 9.4% of cancer patients in the United States in 2014 alone. The walkathon will take place on October 11, 2014 at the Troy Place Office Plaza, and another walkathon, not sponsored by Fraser, will be held on October 18, 2014 at the DTE Edison Center.
