Snow Record Broken

There’s no doubt this winter has been brutal; in fact, it’s been the snowiest winter in a long, long time. In 1880-8, the city of Detroit had a snowfall of 93.6 inches. With the 3.1 inches that fell Tuesday April 14th, this record was beaten and we had a total of 94.8 inches this season. The temperatures have also been abnormally low; spring will definitively be welcomed with open arms by most when it finally decides to arrive.snow
